But most importantly, I am an advocate for social change. My beliefs are considered "radical" by many. I am an anarchist, and I do know of the negative connotations that go along with that term. I believe in fighting for a Utopian Anarchy, which I hope will be achieved eventually. I understand the probability of mankind ever achieving such is near zero, but I believe that it is a future worth fighting for. The intentions of this webspace is to showcase my work and express my ideas about politics, social issues, music, and anything else I feel like writing about. Battle in Seattle on April 16, 2009 In the past week or so I was introduced to a fantastic movie. I do not cry much, but watching this made my eyes well up. The movie is Battle in Seattle. The movies plot is placed in the 1999 Seattle Riots against the WTO (World Trade Organization). One of the reasons I like this movie so much is that it shows the points of view of almost all parties: the protesters, the police, the local government (mayor, governor), and the delegates that attended the meetings. Admittedly, the movie does sympathize and glorify the protesters, but I am ok with this since it reflects my position on the matter.
